We were helped by many along the way;

... we really liked the guides we had on our excursions! From the Capt. and crew on the Crucero del Sol to Fidel on our Colonial Havana tour, our guides were courteous, informative, entrepreneurial and most of all, great with the kids!!! It allowed us to easily and safely experience parts of Cuba I'm sure many resort visitors never bother to seek out.

... thanks to JP and Kathleen for digs on Friday night prior to our departure. We crashed there late but they found beds for our heads and ran us out to Stanfield first thing (early) Saturday morning. Much appreciated.

... brother Eric. For feeding the fish, tapping up the heat on Saturday night, collecting the mail and serving as our contact... enjoy the Old Havana!!!

... of course, special kudos to Eileen for traveling along and putting up with our particular brand of foolishness. Whether shopping with Janie, enjoying piña coladas with Chris, hanging out pool side with the kids, or relaxing on the balcony with a suduko in the afternoon breeze, your presence was welcome and made the trip that much more a vacation!!!

... and the people that kept us clean, fed, watered (hmm) and accommodated our room switch at the Barcelo Marina Palace. They were excellent!!! All of our information requests, anything we required, and probably most important a great attitude were first and foremost.
