Each trip we've taken over the last several years has been with the help of family and friends, and this trek was no different with many thank you's in order.

  • Great job Jane in picking out my birthday present this year... a fancy new GPS. What a great tool... indispensable for our inner-city travel in both Ottawa and Montreal.
  • After stuffing us with a huge breakfast on Day Two, we relaxed with coffee and conversation at Kate's digs in Ottawa. The kids played and we had lots of time to catch up. Thanks so much for having us over to visit Kate, Claire and John.
  • We hope that Madeline Ashe will accept our sincere thanks for providing us with the opportunity to visit MP Peter MacKay's Offices on Parliament Hill. It was a special treat to be able to speak with you and visit.
  • Thanks to Mike and Alison for welcoming us to stay in Pembroke, and making our visit so memorable for the kids and ourselves. We expect to return the hospitability on one of your future visits home. See you all soon, best of wishes with the new arrival, and stay in touch.
  • To all the kind folks at Mac's Ce-Dar-Est Campground who made us feel so welcome after our "drop in" on their kids day activities. Felt like we were at home!!!
