It seemed to Janie and I that there might not be a more appropriate time than now to visit (or revisit) some of our NS Parks Canada Sites. With Canada 150 and all park entrance fees gratis, it seemed more than economical. Plus, loads of events at each site which opened up a surprise at every turn. We selected the two National Parks, Kejumkujik and Cape Breton Highlands, as anchors for two different travel loops and built in attractions around and en route to those sites.
Part I took us to Nova Scotia’s beautiful South Shore and Annapolis Valley. Historic sites, cycling and craft beers figured prominently! Click Part I to follow the goings on of that tour.
Part II circles the Island of Cape Breton and its many attractions. Scenic drives, culture and outside cooking were highlights. Click Part II that follows the route we took and sites we experienced travelling the island.
