After what was an excellent summer of family, friends and cottage time, we were fortunate enough to rally during August’s last days for a trip with the Grahams to Montreal. Hung on Andrew’s capacity for searching out a ticket, we gathered in Quebec for a fast paced visit that saw us take in some of the fun in the sun along the St Lawrence. Originally planned in the spring, the trip shook out as a couples weekend to which eat, drink and be merry was front and centre. Many thanks to the Grahams for the invite and hi jinx that ensued!x
Montreal is a festival and event city, with loads of options to enjoy culture and the arts year round. For us, it was a Mark Knopfler concert that was the draw. Thus, we were packing as much as we could in a weekend. Although short in nature, this trip saw us on the move for three days and we made the best of our time on the ground to enjoy the city, entertainment and friends! The next few pages stumble through our visit and some of the fun we had during our visit.
