Maine/Quebec ’19 – Day Seven

Check out, snow removal and the trek from Quebec City all went smoothly. We ate breakfast at Cora’s in Levis… Eggs Benedict all way around to finish with a bang! Then we gassed up for a straight run to NB. Janie drove this portion. With clear roads and the loss of an hour outside Edmunston, we pushed on to Fredericton arriving just before dark. Back in the day we would have charged on the 4 hours or so home, but instead decided to sack out and get off the highway for a good night’s rest.

Smokehouse Treats @ Ringo’s

The location of the Hampton Inn there was just off the Highway #2 and we settled into a very quiet hotel with almost no vehicles in the parking lot. For supper, Janie found Ringo’s Grill, where we enjoyed a huge smokehouse chicken & rib dinner and some nicely brewed craft beers. Awesome supper with excellent service located around the corner from our evenings digs. Then showers and bedtime to rest for the last leg of the trip.
