Up and it early… not something new for this gang. We tackled the myriad of check-out jobs (towels / beds / dishes / garbage) while also managing a little coffee / grub for breakfast. The Airbnb style of accommodation suits us well… couple of beds, kitchen, washrooms and, in this case, an absolutely perfect location. Our “Host” was responsive and we were more than happy with our short stay at 300 Front St.
Instead of the several block stroll to pick up the free shuttle at Union Station we opted to Uber the short trip to Billy Bishop for our 9:00 AM
Departure. Definitely very early, but it provided us with a quiet run through security and good seating in the pre-flight lounge area!
Porter Flight PD 2283 departed late @ 9:55 AM (about an hr late). When we were finally ready to move we heard a new first! Ants 🐜 on the plane… We were a little sad to be heading home so quickly, as this jaunt to the city was hasty in turnaround. However, we’d accomplished what we’d set out to do… couple of Jays Games, a few attractions and a fun meal! This flight ✈️, much like our leg into Toronto, was on a Dash 8-400 with a similar number of passengers. We did, however, have excellent window seats this time round!
Arrival touchdown at 1:00 PM AT… about 1/2 hr past what was estimated. We enjoyed great views all the way… with clear skies, no turbulence and a dandy “Janie Improved” in-flight snack. We waited until most were off the plane before departing, but had some fun with the selfies! I have learning to do in that realm of photography 📸 !
Arrival in Alma was almost exactly 3:00 PM to connect Mom / Dad with their vehicle. Dandy proper Baptist of a thunderstorm ⛈️ in Truro on the way! After a quick visit home in Antigonish it was off to Canso for Regatta weekend. Over the next 48 hours I’ll formulate some of our thoughts on the trip and land them in the reflections page I do each trip. Cheers to Mom & Dad for being great travel partners and coming along for the trip!

Hey Eileen. Thanks for following along with our visit. It was a pretty good run with a lot of similar attractions / sites to our 2025 visit! Pretty lucky to have had Jays trips two years in a row… simply spoiled! I’m sure we’ll chat soon!
