Montreal ’19 – Day Four

Last day and on deck early… quickly off to grab a morning snack at a local Fabrique du Bagel… great coffee and bagel with the added attraction of getting to watch a team tile a nearby floor in the underground mall. Janie also got some obligatory shopping time in while I jotted a few notes and caught up on correspondence. Upon our return we organized for check out and make our way to the airport.

Cafe Baba Yaga

We decided to try a lunch at Cafe Baba Yaga, also near the connection terminal for the 747 Bus to the airport. We searched a bit and eventually curled into a booth in this tiny haven of Polish cuisine. We were tired, running on fumes and just wanted to be fed… which is exactly what happened! Our waiter was great and sourced us up some pierogies, latkes and schnitzel. Nothing too extravagant, but so very relaxing… and just what we needed for the trip home!

McGill University – Montreal 2019

Our return leg was absolutely uneventful… good flight and safe drive back! Honestly, it was a great couple of days to forget the reality of back to work and brace ourselves for the oncoming school year. Awesome to share a couple of days with Andrew & Lori and see beautiful Montreal again. Many thanks to the Grahams for all the arrangements and inviting us along… it was a perfect weekend of FUN! As always, much appreciated.
