I’d been reading through my blog posts in early July (admittedly I often do that when sleep eludes) and tumbled into a glaring void in our travelogue. What about Canada? We’d flown into most provinces, with a couple of exceptions, but could I really say I’ve seen Manitoba, Ontario, BC… the answer is no! Time to get on the ground and experience it! We’d even gone as far as to cross below in the grand old US of A, but hadn’t trekked our own country. The proud, humble Canadians that we are haven’t given it just deserve.
As luck would have it… two free weeks aligned post folk festival so without hesitation we packed the Rav, our trusty LLBean bags, and headed west. Perhaps there is a romantic side to this… youthful urge to take on the world or something! Most likely, however, blind curiosity took the reins and off we go to our next “best-est” adventure. 😂

Well… hope all is good in PEI. We have two good drivers and are doing lots of switching. Bigger trick was to make sure that we watched ahead for the next service station to make sure we’d have enough gas ⛽️! We’ll try and keep things as up to date as possible 👍
