I’m guessing I speak for all when saying it was just plain special to reconnect this summer, especially with so many in attendance. Great job Conal in making the call and keeping the event moving!
There are things that never fail to amaze me! Firstly, how 2, 4 and 6 kids that hardly know each other can get along so well. They just jump in together and make it all happen… Easy peasy! Secondly, how easily relationships from university are picked back up, even after being away for years at a time. Conversations start as if no time has lapsed. Lastly, I often find it uncanny when I see the parent resemblance in the children. Sometimes that’s just spooky!
Of course, one would be remiss without thanking our Sunday evening hosts, the MacKinnons, who opened their home to our motley crew and warmed us with their company. Hugely appreciated!
