After each trip we sort through the mass of pictures. Can’t imagine having to do something like this in pre-digital times! All the pics within were taken with Janie’s iPhone 6… most are of attractions we visited. Interwoven, however, you’ll also find images of transport, ticket machines and even cards that we used during our trip that may provide helpful information for others that may pass this way! I’m guessing our raw picture data started with well over a 1,000 images which have been culled to around 100 shots to be kept in the Gallery.
Tip: I noticed that Janie used the camera smartly as an organizational support, as many of our students have begun at school. For example, I found a picture of where our car was parked so we could find it easily / shot of a ticket stub that was essential for retrieving bags from our rail station storage / screen shots of simple words you can use when trying to speak Portuguese. The iPhone/iPad are probably the most important tools we now use in regards to trip management.
