It had been three long years since our dispersed group of MtA friends had visited the warm shores of PEI in 2015, and it was time to reconvene! Trip planner/coordinator Ramsey made the call (after staring at a fully booked PEI on the chosen weekend and a poll of those involved) that Fundy National Park would be the destination. Reservations were made for the first weekend of July with all hands able to attend (no small endeavour with participants from NWT through to Maine, NS, and NB).
This get together is always “top notch”, regardless of weather, activity or accommodation. We afford ourselves the time to relax, walk, talk, laugh, eat and sing while catching up on each other’s lives. Conversation is endless and we share tales of family, work and next steps. Kids growing up, our own families and new directions are all in the mix! As a keepsake, I’ve outlined the days as it’s fun to “retrace” and remember the back story to some of the events and pics.
